San Francisco adventures

So I went to San Francisco this past weekend. My little sister graduated, so we came up to her ceremony and to celebrate. San Francisco was awesome, I had been there before only in passing. Twice I had lunch on or near Fisherman’s Wharf, but this time I was there for the whole weekend.

I have so much to write about but I also have a lot of stuff to catch up on. Both my work and personal hiveminder list is growing every few minutes so I’ll tell you more in detail about my trip to the City by the Bay.

The Muni made one of us sick. The night before, we went to a fancy restaurant and we found a grub in our food. We hit an Irish pub with a piano bar and got tanked. We walked until my feet were sore, we were harassed by the crazies on Market street and got to ride on BART. I walked into Chinatown, I had a clam chowder breadbowl at Pier 39. I saw my sister Graduate with her BA.

I had fun, hopefully tonight I can show you some pictures and tell you a little more about the little adventures we had.

Cheer Cheer for Starbucks!

If you haven’t been living under a rock, you should know about the “controversial” Starbucks cups. Apparently some people didn’t like them, they thought they were offensive. WTF? offensive? A thought written in a million cups? Offensive? what a bunch of horsecrap. There is nothing offensive about the comments printed, if you haven’t read them, here are a few for your enjoyment:

“Why in moments of crisis do we ask God for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure.”

The funniest laugh ever

It is as the headline says. Admittedly they run the clip way too long, but the guy does have the strangest funniest laugh.

Check out another recut I just watched, this is a recut of The Shining with Jack Nicholson.

awesome recut of Mary Poppins into Scary Mary

This is pretty clever, I like how it twisted all the scenes into a scary movie. Check it out if you haven’t.

A recut from Mary Poppins into “Scary Mary” well done, the music and the cuts look great
