How do you load a a bobcat onto a truck at the end of the day? Simple, hire one of these amazing drivers. This guy loads a bobcat onto its truck while driving the bobcat. Pretty crazy. He pops a wheelie first, then inches over to the bed of the truck. After he’s up against the truck then he uses the bobcat to push itself onto the truck.
That sucks! His own teammate passes him the ball and at the exact moment, in the exact location where he is, and when he tries to kick it back into play, the ball hops over his foot, then rolls into the goal. What are the chances!? Anyway, I think I read that they came back to win it somewhere in the comments.
Check out this clumsy old reporter as he knocks this huge tower of little wood pieces. It took 2 weekends to build, and he takes it down in 3 seconds with his microphone cable. What a knucklehead
Does this sounds like “open source” dining? I had this link and wanted to post it but for some reason I never actually did until now. I thought it would be interesting to visit one of these places.
At Terra Bite Lounge in the Seattle suburb of Kirkland, most diners slip cash into a donation slot by the barista, while others just walk away without bothering to pay. “If I forget to bring enough money, I can just give more next time,” says real-estate consultant Tina Cooper, who stops at Terra Bite most mornings for what she claims is the best soy latte in the neighborhood.
I don’t buy much into the Global Warming craze, but I think we do affect the planet in some way by being wasteful but I don’t know that we affect it as much as some people might want you to believe. With that said, if the world is actually warming up, you should reconsider buying that big gas guzzler car next time. Otherwise you’ll eventually have to pay more for a 6-pack of beer. GTA woes…
“The expectations for GTA were already justifiably very high,” Sebastian said. “EA understood that when they made their bid….Every day that passes, they’re going to be losing out on GTA revenues, so theyre likely to lower their bid over time….But if GTA massively exceeds their expectations, that could be a scenario where EA might have to raise their bid.”
None of this, of course, matters to critics like Yee or the Parents Television Council, both of which cited the oft-reported history of violence in GTA as reason behind their statements.
Interesting article outlining some of the numbers that Rockstar and GTA IV are producing. I must admit, I bought a ps3 and the game just a couple days ago. I’m blown away. I haven’t played any video games in quite a while, but after trying this out at a buddy’s house I went out and got my own. Its really amazing to experience all that the game has to offer. I highly recommend it, if you’re old enough. The game is definitely violent and adult themed. I would not recommend that any kids stick around while the game is on, the language is definitely not suitable for younger audiences. The same thing goes for the violence and overall story. Anyway, check out the story.
Can any game break the ‘GTA IV’ sales records? | Geek Gestalt - A blog by Daniel Terdiman - CNET News.com
On Wednesday, Take-Two Interactive, which owns GTA IV developer Rockstar Games, announced that the new game had raked in all-time records of $310 million on its launch day of April 29 and $500 million during its first week. The single-day figure shattered the previous record, set last September by Halo 3, of $170 million. And given how quickly Bungie Studios’ Halo 3 was reduced to second place, it stands to reason that even the monstrous pile of cash GTA IV has earned so far–it has already sold more than 6 million copies, Take-Two said–could be in danger from some game already in the pipeline.

I went out to see IronMan last night. It blew me away, you should definitely watch it in a theatre that offers good quality sound, DTS is awesome. The movie is well done, the story line is believable and you actually end up liking the whole story. I wish it would have been longer but oh well. I would even say that I like this movie better than Transformers. Of course the stories are way different, but they both have great fighting scenes and excellent animation. I can’t wait for the next chapter of the Iron Man franchise. My buddy David tells me that the main actors had to agree to a 3 movie deal.
It is just enough to leave you wanting more. Oh yeah and when you go see it, you should stick around until after the credits.
I also found this story (below), which is the stuff us nerds care about. The article points out two facts; the suit is not that far fetched; but until we have a new way of harnessing the energy needed to power a device like that, the suit will remain the stuff of comic books. It is simply impossible (today) to have the required energy in a practical format that could be used for such applications.
Tony Starks amazing suit is a long way from realization, mostly due to practical energy constraints.
As a comic book fan and physics professor, I am looking forward to the big screen debut of Iron Man. This is due, in part, to the fact that instead of getting belted with gamma rays or being born a demon from hell, industrialist and scientist Tony Stark got his super powers by means of his engineering genius.
But just how realistic is Starks amazing suit?
Sadly, nearly all of the features of the Iron Man suit, with one important exception, are not likely to be realized anytime soon. Lets look at each of the suits major elements in turn.
In case you haven’t heard it (only if you’ve been living under a rock) here’s the Bob Sinclair song, Love generation. I dig the beat and the whislte melody. I have found a few different versions of the songs, but the original is great.
Here’s the video, and the lyrics are below if you’re insterested:
