This one is a must see, this purely an artistic presentation. If you like classical piano then you should watch this. She’s 14 years old at the time of this writing, which would make her 18 now. She’s amazing when she improvises and then also on the song she plays afterward. She has a lot of talent and obviously 4 years later she’s gone out to do some great things.
She speaks about how she composes her music. She goes on about her inspirations, and she then explains the technical parts of writing the song. The video has a good mix of “theory” and “performance”. Many people have said that when you’re an artist you should work with other arts besides your favorite, she explains how this is true to her as well; her other art? painting.
The volunteer that comes up, is Goldie Hawn.
Funny and clean video of Ode to Joy as done by a puppet with multiple personalities. Great finish too.
lol play it again.
You remember that guy, kept coming up in MTV. His name is Rahzel and he does a song titled “if your mamma only knew” and it is a cool song, it has a good beat and rhythm Continue Reading “better than Rahzel” »
Clever musical video. This is a very well done 3-d animation where the instruments are perfectly synchronized to the music. It must have taken a lot of time and effort to make the video. Its a bit long but its good. Hope you like it. Does anyone know if the song is original or if its borrowed? Continue Reading “perfect musical and 3-d sync” »
here it is, found it.
I thought this was kind of cool. It gets interesting about 1/2 way through. But you should watch the whole thing.
pretty damn cool IMO. slowly 3rd world countries are starting to get into technology. It is interesting to see what new uses, current or “old” technology serves when it reaches people that are generally not exposed to high-tech stuff.
This is really cool. A simple little hack to add an interesting touch to a simple tea light. I wonder what would happen if you doubled this up and ended up with 4 propulsion tips? That is something I’d like to try. Also, it would be interesting to try a bunch of these in a pool. You know like those floating candle holders that people use at pool parties and stuff. Anyway, enough of my ramblings. check out the video. Its really cool, but I do have to warn you of the uber-geek-factor involved.
This is good stuff, beatboxing.
This is a really cool video put together in sync to a poem by W.B.Y.
HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
